Sheltered Transit stops are located throughout Cherokee. Transit follows two routes in downtown Cherokee — • The Mountain Trail route follows US 19, US 441 and the connecting Business 441 (Casino Trail). See map. Fares • Tokens from in-town lodging facilities are accepted for fares. Each token equals $1.00 in fare. • Shuttle busses operate year around. The fare is $1.00 for adults (each time you board). Unlimited day passes ($2.00) are available from the driver. • Transferring to Community Trails routes involves the applicable charges for your route. Rates are based on zones, with a charge of $1.00 per zone entered. Upon boarding, please tell the driver your final destination and pay the entire fare for your journey. • Exact change please. Driver cannot make change. |

Downtown transit runs begin at 6:45 am daily. The last shuttle leaves the Casino at 11:30 pm. Park and ride all over town.
Cherokee Transit’s more than two dozen regularly-scheduled stops include the town’s largest food market many hotels, Harrah's Casino, stores and attractions, and the Ginger Lynn Welch library and fitness center complex on Acquoni Road.
